Description:
The Mendes Iseo Deluxe Glazed Central 4 Light FD30 Fire Door comes pre-finished and ready to hang, making installation quick and simple. A popular favourite, the Oak Iseo Deluxe combines a solid engineered core with a refined closed-pore finish, truly living up to its Deluxe name. Each door is fitted with clear glazing as standard, though bespoke glazing options are also available on request.
Finished with a smooth clear satin lacquer, this door requires no additional treatment before fitting. A wide selection of standard sizes is kept in stock, but if you need a custom size, we can also provide bespoke options to suit your requirements.
Mendes Internal doors are manufactured to an extremely high standard, by factories that are considered to be market leaders in providing value for money without compromising product quality. The doors are manufactured using the ‘preferred’ engineered construction, which ensures maximum stability. The stiles are edged with a solid timber lipping and over veneered.
Mendes Fire doors are specifically designed to protect lives and property during a fire, and building regulations outline where they must be installed in both residential and commercial properties. Governed by strict regulations, interior fire doors must be a minimum of FD30, meaning they keep smoke and flames at bay for 30 minutes or more.
Fire doors are critical safety products and must always be installed according to the manufacturers instructions and with the correct hardware and accessories. As fire doors vary in construction, it's essential to follow the specific installation guidelines for each door.
Installing an internal fire door isn’t the same as hanging a standard door. It is a complex procedure requiring detailed understanding and should be fitted by someone with the correct training.
Failure to fit a fire door correctly will compromise the door’s performance and ultimately property and lives will be at risk. Your Building Control Officer will check for compliance of the door itself and also the way it is fitted and the components used in fitting.
